Alutec has launched a new RIBA accredited CPD seminar developed to help architects and specifiers maintain their professional accreditation and stay completely informed about the unique benefits of aluminium eaves solutions.
Aluminium eaves systems offer distinct advantages over more traditional materials, such as ease of installation, superb sustainability credentials and vastly improved life expectancy of 50 years that is virtually maintenance free, making it the ideal material for specification and use in modern construction.
The seminar, which covers the required topics under RIBA’s core curriculum, explains which specific types of aluminium are most suited for rainwater systems and is supported by information on correct system specification and design. The seminar will also provide updated information on new and forthcoming British Standards, eaves ventilation requirements and life cost analyses.
The hour-long CPD is delivered free of charge at participants’ premises, giving specifiers a valuable opportunity to explore the topics in more depth.
Kevin Wallis, Category Manager – Eaves Solutions at Alutec, commented: “Aluminium remains a popular choice of building material, and for good reason. The benefits of aluminium are numerous and our new CPD is designed to give architects and specifiers greater insight into our changing industry and a sound knowledge base for specification.
“Alutec provides a full turnkey service, from design, to delivery, to technical support and on site assistance. Delegates attending the seminar will be able to take full advantage of our broad knowledge and expertise by taking the opportunity to ask project based questions.”
