Double digit growth for Vortice
Despite a tough few years for the building industry, Burton-on-Trent based Vortice Ltd, which supplies energy efficient ventilation systems for the domestic, commercial and industrial market, has produced double digit growth figures for 2011. This comes hot on the heels of reasonable single digit growth for 2009 and 2010.
General Manager Kevin Hippey comments: “Like everyone in the industry we’ve had to control our costs over the last three years, but what we’ve also done is ensure that our new product development plan mirrors and even pre-empts the needs of our customers and we’ve gone the extra mile in terms of customer service.”
Vortice has increased its energy efficient lines for system 3 and system 4 products, with particular effort spent in driving down costs and increasing efficiency in its heat recovery systems. Milanese parent company Vortice Spa, also completed its purchase of Italian company Loran in 2011, which manufactures commercial and industrial ventilation systems and air handling units. This places the group in an ideal position to further develop its offering across the commercial ventilation market as well as the domestic market.
Kevin Hippey continues: “Our commercial and industrial project management team together with our domestic market sales force is there to help architects, specifiers and developers plan their ventilation systems and ensure that the correct system is specified in the first place in order to achieve the desired energy savings.”
