ElectroCycle Invited as VIPs to House of Lords
ElectroCycle based in Rhydymwyn North Wales was invited to the House of Lords on 12th December for their outstanding support of the conservation Charity known as Space for Giants.
The WEEE recycling company have pledged a donation for every tonne of WEEE they obtain in order to help the charity develop a balance between the human farmers and one of the last free roaming elephants in Africa.
David Burton, Chairman of the Strateco Group said: "We were extremely surprised to be invited to the House of Lords."
ElectroCycle is a company within the Strateco Group that has a dedicated DCF in the Antelope Industrial Estate, Rhydymwyn where the staff recycle WEEE waste ethically and so reducing dreaded landfill.
"Sadly," said David "we are still hearing of WEEE being illegally exported to Africa, where it is having a devistating affect on the environment and the people living there. This must stop."
David and his marketing manager attended the House of Lords to help showcase the Space for Giants work to encourage more sponsorship and donations. As the official sponsor of the charity ElectroCycle aim to ensure they play a big part in helping Dr. Max Graham (CEO of the charity) raise money for this good cause.
