Ottocento Antico Velluto is a decorative coating for interiors that adapts perfectly to both classical as well as contemporary interiors. The products finish captures light and subtly reflects it as if it were a precious fabric on the surface enveloping the interior and creating a notable decorative effect with an assured, classy feel.

The material is characterised by the special pigments within its composition that create the effect and render it also a perfect alternative to fabric wall coatings, wall papers or drapes. Ottocento is a highly innovative product with a Low Environmental Impact, ecological and friendly to both humans and the environment, its decorative potential is further enhanced by its technical characteristics including a higher level of permeability to water vapour enabling the natural evaporation of humidity from in the surface rendering living spaces more hygienic and creating a general improvement in the air quality in interior spaces.

The application of this material is straight forward and consists of the application by roller, of a base coat called Supercolor in the indicated colour to match the finish and a single coat applied by trowel of Ottocento. The products creamy consistency makes it very simple to spread and on top of the effect itself, the long open time eliminates any possibility of joins in the application. The effect is created , once the product has been generally spread on the surface in a fine layer, by moving over the surface with a clean trowel just as it starts to set off, allowing the still moist areas to smear out over the surface and blend with those areas that have already started to dry. The effect that is generated is not only a visual effect that is pleasing on the eye, it also creates a soft velvety feel over the surface that is extremely pleasant to the touch.

The product is available in a an extensive range of 160 colours, that includes both the latest colours from the world of interior design as well as those shades that fit perfectly into all everyday Interior spaces and settings. Combining different colours of the base coat with a different colour of Ottocento or even applying several colours of Ottocento at the same time, increase yet further the creative possibilities that Ottocento offers and further demonstrates the materials versatility and ease of use. The finish is capable of generating a stunning atmosphere that enriching interiors in both the residential and commercial sectors.
