The effect is created , once the product has been generally spread on the surface in a fine layer, by moving over the surface with a clean trowel just as it starts to set off, allowing the still moist areas to smear out over the surface and blend with those areas that have already started to dry. The effect that is generated is not only a visual effect that is pleasing on the eye, it also creates a soft velvety feel over the surface that is extremely pleasant to the touch.
