New faces at Knauf Insulation
Knauf Insulation is pleased to welcome two new faces to its business development and marketing teams. Graham Boyd has joined in the role of Business Development Director and Micaela Ådahl has taken up the position of Marketing Manager for the Nordic Region.
Graham joins Knauf Insulation from Hanson, where he has worked since 1984. He has held a number of key commercial roles since 2006, when he was made Sales Director within the brick division, focusing on the specification and developer sectors. In 2009 he moved across to the packed products division, again as Sales Director, where he worked on developing sales across the merchant and retail markets. In the last few years, Graham has driven the re-branding of the Hanson Packed Range, as well as the merger of the packed cement and packed aggregate sales teams to form a new division.
In his new role as Business Development Director at Knauf Insulation, he will take responsibility for the residential development and UK Special Projects teams, where he will take charge of driving forward new opportunities.
Graham said: “So much is happening in the construction industry at the moment in terms of sustainability and energy efficiency, so it’s an exciting time to join one of the biggest insulation manufacturers. Knauf Insulation is a global player and I am pleased to be joining such a strong team – I look forward to making a contribution and being part of the company’s exciting future.”
Micaela joins Knauf Insulation as Marketing Manager for the Nordic region, taking responsibility for Finland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden. After graduating from the Helsinki Business School with an MBA in Industrial Marketing, she took the positions of Sales Support with Black and Decker and Customer Service for DeWalt Finland.
In 2006 she moved over to the marketing function, where she worked as Brand Marketing Manager, with responsibility for garden tools, home products, fixings and fastenings in the Nordic countries and Baltic regions.
Micaela commented: “I am excited to take up this new role with the world’s fastest growing insulation manufacturer, where I will be working hard to increase the market knowledge and customer understanding of Knauf Insulation’s highly user friendly and energy efficient insulation system solutions. I look forward to developing new and existing channels to build brand awareness, in both the trade and DIY markets.”
