Sunday, 15 May 2011

The Surestop stopcock is a direct replacement for the brass stopcock and for many people, the Surestop water switch might appear to be a new product, however the first version of the Surestop was actually launched in 2001. The development of the Surestop has been a continual process over the last 10 years. With 350,000 Surestops having been sold in the UK since its launch, the new range of stopcocks, are the best yet.

Brass stopcocks can be hard to access and difficult to turn particularly for the elderly or someone with limited hand movement. WRAS approved, the Surestop stopcock is a direct replacement for the brass stopcock and it allows you to turn off mains water at the flick of a switch.

They are initially available in 15m and 22mm sizes with push-fit fittings and can be seen at EcoShowcase.
