Black Millwork tilts and turns its new window
Black Millwork has introduced a tilt and turn window to its own brand range of timber windows and doors.
The high performance window is manufactured from quality, knot free engineered Baltic pine as standard, with additional options for solid oak and ash, as well as an aluminium clad version with pine and oak interiors. Narrow frames provide a sophisticated finish, which is particularly suited for specification within a contemporary development.
Windows are fully finished in white as standard with extra RAL colours also available. To facilitate further design freedom, options for dual colour frames with painted exteriors or interiors can also be requested.
All tilt and turn units are glazed with Pilkington Low E 24mm double glazing with 90% Argon Gas fill and an upgraded Thermix spacer bar. To enable developers and specifiers to put a unique stamp on a property, Black Millwork offers window furniture in a number of finishes, including silver, champagne, gold, brushed chrome, bronze and white.
“The new range of tilt and turn windows ticks all the boxes, in terms of aesthetics and quality, in addition to providing a bespoke service for all specifiers,” comments Gary Hutton, General Manager at Black Millwork. “They also offer real benefits in terms of energy efficiency, offering a U Value of 1.1.”
All Black Millwork tilt and turn windows come with extensive warranties, 10 years for sealed units and hardware, 5 years for the paint finish and 10 years on the timber.
