Osram's new 36,000 hours lifetime DULUX XT series
OSRAM has developed a highly innovation pin-base compact fluorescent lamp series with an average lifetime of 36,000 hours in order to meet professional lighting requirements even more effectively. Thanks to the extremely long lifetime of OSRAM’s DULUX XT lamps, the maintenance cycle is considerably extended which leads to much lower total lighting costs, particularly for luminaires that are difficult to access. It is the perfect sustainable alternative for street lighting, tunnels, car parks and public facilities.
DULUX XT lamps are ‘Top Performers’ in OSRAM’s restructured CFL pin-base range. ‘Top Performer’ DULUX lamps have been designed for applications where high quality light must meet specific demands. Despite the extended lifetime, there has been no compromise on energy efficiency which means that you will still reap energy savings of 80% compared to using traditional GLS lamps.
The lamp series features three lamps so that you can select the right product for any application. DULUX D/E XT, DULUX T/E XT and DULUX L XT all feature the long lifetime of 36,000 hours which is a big advantage when it comes to lamp maintenance. Luminaires that are difficult to access or fittings that are used for many hours every day are ideal locations to fit the new lamps in order to reap significant savings.
In waiting rooms and terminals, corridors, stairwells, hospitals, hotels or shops, OSRAM’s DULUX XT lamps ensure a considerably lower overall total cost of ownership taking into account initial investment, maintenance, and replacement costs.
