New Longlast T2 delivers A energy rating
GE Lighting has launched a new addition to its premium performance energy saving range with the new Longlast T2 Spiral CFL lamp. With an outstanding longlife of 15,00 hours it is one of the smallest longlast lamps available on the market and provides a direct replacement for banned incandescent lightbulbs from the EuP Directive.
The new Longlast T2 Spiral CFL lamp offers a full range of attractive reduced size spiral lamps. The design ensures that although smaller in size - the Longlast T2 Spiral lamps provide a higher lumen output compared to original stick lamps. The design also ensures that the Longlast T2 lamp provides an exact match for incandescents that have been banned by the EuP Directive.
With an A energy rating and a EU Ecolabel to certify it is environmentally friendly and of high quality - the new Longlast T2 Spiral offers fast, flicker-free warm up and excellent lumen maintenance over a 12,00 hour rated life. The Longlast T2 Spiral lamp provides the reliable and longlasting high performance GE Lighting is well-known for.
"The new Longlast Spiral lamps fulfil the need for a high quality lamp to match standards expected from consumers from a traditional incandescent bulb," said Simon Phillips, Commercial Director for EMEA at GE Lighting. "The lamps have been developed for both new and existing installations and provide superb light output, for longer and with less energy required - ensuring that energy bills are reduced."
Available in 8, 12,13,15, 20 and 23-watt versions, the Longlast T2 lamps complement a broad line of CFLs from GE Lighting and are available in EuP compliant packaging, with an open bottom box to ensure the cap is visible.
