Mix it to the max
The Sika MaxMix collection is the ultimate range of one-shot concentrated liquid admixtures and colours that are easy to use in all sand / cement mortars and concretes. 1 litre bottles of Sika MaxMix replace all conventional 5 and 25 litre containers, eliminating the need to carry bulky and heavy bottles to and from site.
The bottles have a clever dosing device on the side, which clearly marks in millilitre increments the exact dosage. Simply squeeze the bottle to release as much admixture into the dosing device as required. This unique and simple to use 25ml dosing system ensures no waste or spills when diluting with clean mixing water, and a controlled dosage and therefore a constant mixing ratio.
There is a Sika MaxMix solution for every mortar task. The range consists of a mortar plasticiser, rendering admixture, frostproofer & accelerator, integral waterproofer and a range of colours.
The concentrated cement colours are ideal for bricklaying mortars, rendering mortars, screeds and pointing mortars. They have a speedy colour dispersion and are simple to use without the mess of using traditional powders.
Georgina Fraser, Product Manager at Sika comments: “1 litre of Sika MaxMix Mortar Plasticiser is equivalent to 25 litres of standard product. For a 25kg bag of cement, only 5ml is needed, so 1 bottle can treat 200 bags! However it’s not just time and money that’s being saved, we’re also dramatically reducing carbon emissions. Not only do smaller containers require less transport, they also produce less waste product, further contributing to a greener environment.”
