miniPLAN successfully launched at Interbuild 2008

miniPLAN was exhibited at the Interbuild 08 exhibition in October 2008. The miniPLAN team demonstrated the software's capabilities at the Leica stand.

The software was initially designed for Surveyors and Architects, but during the show it emerged that many other sectors utilise 2D floor plans.

The feedback from visitors was fantastic. here are just a few comments from the 75 sales leads that were generated from the exhibition:

"I absolutely love the software" said Warren Holdershaw from totesport. "Currently I survey a shop in a morning, and typically get a plan drawn up within two to three weeks. With miniPLAN I could generate the plan onsite, and check it before returning to the office. When I get back to the office I won't need to do any drawing up as the plans generated by miniPLAN are exactly what i need. I have six surveyors, and they need all need a licence and the kit."

"This is brilliant yet simple" said Simon from Rainbow International. "We receive over 6,000 domestic insurance claims per week, and don't have the facility to produce a floor plan easily. With miniPLAN we could easily draw a plan of a room that had damp problems, or a plan of a floor that had been flooded. This software is exactly what we are looking for."

Gareth from Corinium Architectural Services said: "This is the best thing I've seen at Interbuild," and Chartered Civil Engineer and Building Surveyor David Attree said: "It's great. That's the job done!"
