With four UK manufacturing facilities, Knauf Insulation is an integrated insulation business. We are the UK's only supplier with expertise in the manufacture of not one, but four types of insulation material:

Glass mineral wool

Rock mineral wool

Extruded polystyrene (XPS)

Extruded polyethylene (XPE)

Knauf Insulation has a strong commitment to sustainability. A high percentage of our raw material content, such as glass, is recycled. Our industry leading compression packaging capabilities reduce transport emissions by up to eight times while we employ 'Best Available Technique' (BAT) wherever possible in our factories. Our energy usage has been dramatically reduced in recent years allowing us to significantly outperform our statutory carbon targets. We provide sustainable, low environmental impact products and use Carbon Footprinting and Life Cycle Analysis to assess our performance.
