Geocel were the first to launch a range of effective eco friendly building chemicals that contain no hydrochloric acid or other harmful solvents and are safe to use and store. Geocel have recently concentrated on reducing the strain of its product packaging waste on the environment, with over 100 million plastic sealant cartridges ending up in landfill every year action needs to be taken. Geocel’s ecoSEAL sealants are packed in laminated foil 'sausage' packs instead of bulky plastic cartridges. An empty sausage pack is more than eight times less volume than a spent cartridge and up to 60% lighter. This offers obvious benefits to the contractor who can save on skip hire charges, landfill charges, and disposal costs. Geocel's accreditation to BS EN ISO 14001 has contributed significantly to the company’s commitment to sustainability with significant improvements in waste reduction, energy efficiency and recycling. The company has been awarded by Envision in recognition of their actions to minimise environmental impacts and improve environmental efficiency.
