How would a flood from a burst pipe affect your property? Over £640 million pounds of damage was caused by burst pipes in the UK last year - this can be avoided by installing an electric AutoStopcock. The AutoStopcock switch has been in operation for over 15 years and allows the dweller to turn off the mains water from a conveniently located remote switch. With intelligent capabilities the AutoStopcock will also turn your mains water off if a flood risk occurs (freezing or burst pipe).

The AutoStopcock was first patented in 1993 and have been developed over the past 18 years to offer an unrivaled alternative to the old brass manual stopcock which tends to be in a restrictive location making it hard to get to in an emergency while being prone to seizing up.
The AutoStopcock comes in two versions allowing this unique technology to be enjoyed by any homeowner and offering the following unique features:-
- A remote switch can be located as far from the stopcock valve as required enabling the dweller to turn off the mains water at the flick of a switch and with ease.
- The AutoStopcock will monitor the ambient temperature and will turn off the mains water in the event of a risk of freezing.
- The AutoStopcock will turn off the mains water in the event of excess water flow (e.g. ruptured pipe or fitting)
- The AutoStopcock will turn off the mains water in the event of no water flow for a pre-set period as the property would be deemed vacant.
- The AutoStopcock valve is WRAS approved and also satisfies the 'Lifetime Homes' standard - criteria 16.
- The AutoStopcock parameters can be tailored to the homeowner’s requirements.
